Hotel Colombina Venice

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the Bridge of Sighs and San Marco square. The room was small but comfortable, with a beautiful view of the canal. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast served was delicious. We also appreciated the easy access to nearby restaurants and shops. we had a great experience.

The courtyard could use some comfortable seating for guests to relax.

The hotel is perfectly located, just a stone's throw away from St Mark's Square. It's a great base for exploring the city, with many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The rooms are comfortable and decorated in the Venetian style, providing a true Venetian experience. The bathrooms are spacious and well-equipped, with both showers and baths and complimentary toiletries. The staff is exceptional and always willing to assist. The breakfast offers a variety of options, including fruit juices, cereals, pastries, and even bacon and scrambled eggs.

The view from the canal tour boat was limited, with only four seats outside.

During my Christmas stay, I was happy with the two facts offered by the hotel: a well-organized transfer and a delicious breakfast buffet. The transfer from the airport was done professionally and quickly, saving me time and hassle. the breakfast buffet provided a sufficient variety of good quality, tasty and fresh food. I especially enjoyed the delicious sweets. the hotel's key location, just a few steps away from a prominent square, made it convenient for me to explore the surrounding area.

I was disappointed with a couple of aspects. the view from my room's window onto the canal was unremarkable, a letdown considering the charm of the city.
